On Saturday, February 3, 2019, Brown Borkowski & Morrow (SLF) staff, along with their family and friends volunteered at Gleaner’s Foodbank in downtown Detroit. SLF helped bag 6,750 pounds of apples, which will be sent to various distribution centers and schools across the state, helping to feed more than 6,000 people! Brown Borkowski & Morrow volunteers at the Gleaners twice a year. We are proud to be part of serving Wayne County in this capacity!

Last year Gleaners distributed 42.3 million pounds of food. That’s enough to fill Ford Field and Comerica Park to capacity. For more information about volunteer opportunities at Gleaners, visit their website at www.gcfb.org.
